Our Vision

Nurturing strong families is the priority and purpose of our various ministries at NLCC.  Through all of our fellowship events and worship services, we desire to help adults, teens, and children, alike, to develop their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Endeavoring to share Christ with others fulfills God’s will that we lead people to Him.  Through personal testimonies of God’s life-changing power and sharing the Scriptures with others, we choose to encourage people to walk with Jesus Christ.

Worshipping Jesus Christ collectively in church services and being committed to living for Him individually each day will give us the power to live victorious lives.  The Church family of believers provides encouragement and strength in an atmosphere of unified worship.  Walking with Jesus daily through prayer and study of His Word is how we overcome the struggles of sin.

Loving one another, we desire to unite people of all economic and ethnic backgrounds.  As Christ showed compassion to all, we choose to share His love by caring for each other in tangible ways and gathering together for fun and fellowship.

Instructing and mentoring believers in the knowledge of God’s Word builds faith in Christ Jesus.  Our spiritual instruction, personal growth and leadership development is nurtured through a Bible-based, Christ-centered curriculum.  Therefore, as our understanding of the Scripture deepens, we are equipped to meet life’s spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.

Finding and developing every person’s gifts for ministry enables each person to reach their full potential in Jesus Christ.  God has given each of us unique gifts and talents.  At NLCC, we endeavor to help individuals discover and develop their gifts and talents, so they may use them to help others.

Evangelizing our world through the love of God allows us to touch the lives of hurting people and to bring real hope to them.  By sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and across the globe through friendship, teaching, prayer and financial support, we are committed to touching our world with His unconditional love.
